Animal Health and Welfare equipment now available
The second theme of the 2023 Farming Equipment and Technology Fund has opened for applications, giving farmers the opportunity to receive funding towards vital equipment used regularly in farming practices.
The Animal Health and Welfare theme includes specific items for cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry as well as general livestock items such as EID stick readers, livestock cameras and weighing systems.
The grant has a £1000 minimum and £25,000 maximum and is based on a 40-50% contribution of total costs. All items must be paid for and installed before funding can be claimed in arrears.
The application window runs from 23rd March 23 – midday 15th June 23.
